| Day 1: FALL CREEK FALLS STATE PARK / LUNCH / CUMBERLAND COUNTY PLAYHOUSE / CHATTANOOGA, TN Nothing describes autumn's bounty better than the amazing palette of orange, red and yellow against lush evergreens. Fall Creek Falls State Park on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee is one of the most beautiful parks in the United States. After an included lunch at the park restaurant and a scenic drive, we will attend a live performance at Cumberland County Playhouse. We continue to Chattanooga, our home for two nights. (L)

Day 2: LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN INCLINE / FALL LEAF CRUISE ABOARD SOUTHERN BELLE RIVERBOAT / CHATTANOOGA On the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, the fall colors are "through the roof" when you ride straight down the side of Lookout Mountain on "America's Most Amazing Mile." You will experience breath-taking views through the clear roof. Then see one of nature's most magnificent wonders dressed in all its’ fall splendor aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat. We will cruise into the Tennessee River Gorge, also known as the Grand Canyon of the South, to see nature's brilliant canvas of fall colors. The 4-hour Fall Leaf Cruise includes a great lunch, live entertainment, informative commentary, and free bingo with prizes! (DCB, L)

Day 3: AUTUMN LEAF SPECIAL ABOARD TENNESSEE-CHICKAMAUGA RAILWAY / LUNCH / HOME On the Autumn Leaf Special you will experience travel straight from the “Golden Age of American Railroading. The vintage train travels from Chattanooga to Summerville, Georgia; passing through several picturesque Georgia towns along the way. Fall colors throughout the rural countryside are usually a highlight outside the train while a dining car luncheon, complete with chinaware, is served inside the dining car. We depart for home refreshed and exhilarated from three days of brilliant fall colors, exciting excursions, entertainment, and good food. (DCB, L) |
