In addition to an overnight stay at the Opryland Hotel, you will have admission to ICE! – an incredible holiday attraction hand-carved from nearly two million pounds of ice and features a candy house, igloo, train you can walk through, a glistening nativity scene and more. Select unusual gifts at Treasures for the Holidays, featuring arts, antiques, and crafts. Marvel at the creatively decorated trees in the Hall of Trees. Day 2: LEISURE MORNING / GENERAL JACKSON HOLIDAY LUNCH CRUISE / COOL SPRINGS MALL / HOME:   There are so many distinct areas that make up this resort – The Magnolia, Garden Conservatory, Cascades and Delta. You will want to see then all before we leave. After checkout we board the General Jackson Showboat for a Holiday Lunch Cruise. “Now That’s a Country Christmas” features music and comedy by Tim Watson, and a seated lunch in the warmth of the two-story Victorian Theatre. Enjoy the proud tradition of great showboats of yesteryear and delight in the panoramic sights of the Cumberland River as you enjoy a leisurely two-and-a-half-hour cruise. After a stop at Cool Springs Mall for Christmas shopping, we make our way home filled with Christmas cheer. (L)
