Day 1: LAFAYETTE, LA / DINNER @ MULATE’S:   The activities are limitless and the history is strong, so be prepared to experience it all during your visit to San Antonio. The first evening will be an adventure in Cajun country. Tap your feet and clap your hands to zydeco music at Mulate’s! (D)
Day 2: SAN ANTONIO / DINNER / RIVERWALK & BOAT TOUR   Truly the pride of the City, San Antonio has turned its little river into one big attraction, and what better time to be here than in the spring when flowers are blooming! Experience the romance as we discover the river from our hotel conveniently located on Riverwalk. Enjoy a delicious Mexican dinner while listening to the festive tunes of a Mariachi band! Later, you can explore the cobblestone walkways of the Riverwalk while listening to lively music! (D)
Day 3: GUIDED TOUR OF SAN ANTONIO & MISSION TRAIL / MARKET SQUARE / RIVERWALK:   Capture the spirit of Texas along the San Antonio River; a mecca for history buffs. Fort Sam Houston is "must-see", where military greats like Pershing and Eisenhower served. Centuries of history and culture will come alive as we tour Mission Trail. We will visit Hemisphere Park, Tower of America, and the celebrated Market Square. You will have the afternoon and evening free to see the sights, visit the Alamo, shop at River Center Mall, or stroll along the river. (B)
Day 4: Y.O. RANCH / CHUCK WAGON LUNCH / LBJ RANCH / AUSTIN, TX:   Find out why Y.O. Ranch is called “Africa in Texas” as we experience the mystique of cowboys and the grandeur of exotic wildlife. Enjoy Texas hospitality at a chuck wagon lunch. From here we visit LBJ Ranch. Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park tells the story of our 36th President, beginning with his ancestors until his final resting place on his beloved LBJ Ranch. (B, L)
Day 5: TEXAS RANGER MUSEUM / HOME OF LOUISIANA HAYRIDE / DINNER / SHREVEPORT, LA:   Waco, home of the Texas Rangers Museum, is where we learn the history of the Rangers, and hear tales of the more famous cases like Bonnie and Clyde. Back in Louisiana, we’ll stop at the home of the Louisiana Hayride and radio broadcasts where Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, and other country legends were regulars. Dinner brings us another Louisiana style cuisine before returning home. (D)
